This kilt is Made to Order

Made to measure 5 metre Heavy weight kilt, made in our own Inverness Tailoring workroom using a combination on traditional tailoring skills and modern technology. This kilt is made using 5 metres of heavy weight tartan fabric sourced from our weaving mill suppliers who are all based in the UK. Each kilt comes with 2  full leather straps and nickel plated buckles & Black cotton lining. 

This is an ideal starter kilt for using at Music festivals  or as a walking kilt. It is made using a Heavy Weight 16/17oz per yard Tartan and may ware better that the 5 metre Medium Weight kilt when being worn for walking in the Hills & Mountains, due to the fact that there is more wool fibres twisted giving it a denser and firmer finished fabric  than the Medium or Light Weight Tartan fabric.

Disclaimer: This fabric is not waterproof and will when wet stay wet until is is allowed to dry out.

Please note that this kilt is ONLY available up to a waist size of 40"/102 CMs as there is not enough fabric in the over all length to allow it to made to any bigger than 40" waist. 

Supplied with matching Tartan Flashes and a set of adjustable elasticated garters, helping the wearer to dress up their leg dress (socks) for a more formal occasion. 

NOTE: This kilt can only be made using Tartan Fabric from the following weaving suppliers ranges, Lochcarron STROME, Marton Mills JURA, House of Edgar NEVIS & HEAVY WEIGHT.
